Invitation and Guidelines for FLAG Inter-School Essay Writing Competition — April 2025

Following the successful and impactful execution of previous competitions under the FLAG banner, we are pleased to announce the Inter-School Essay Writing Competition, which marks the beginning of the second quarter’s competitive activities for 2025.

This competition aims to strengthen students’ writing abilities, critical thinking, and self-expression, while also preparing them to articulate ideas confidently in front of an audience.

We request you to kindly encourage your students to participate actively and represent your institution with pride.

Language Options:

The competition will be held in two separate language categories:
Urdu and English.

Winners will be selected separately in both language categories at each level.

Competition Details & Topics:

Primary Level (Grades 3 to 5)

Topics (choose one):

1. Our School میرا سکول
2. Our Home ہمارا گھر
3. Cleanliness is Half of Faith صفائی نصف ایمان ہے

Word Count: 200 to 300 words

Middle Level (Grades 6 to 8)

Topics (choose one):

1. Importance of Education تعلیم کی اہمیت
2. Benefits of Book Reading کتب بینی کے فوائد
3. My Village میرا گاؤں

Word Count: 300 to 400 words

High Level (Grades 9 to 12)

Topics (choose one):

1. How to Improve the Education System تعلیمی نظام میں بہتری کیسے لائی جا سکتی ہے
2. Pakistan: Past, Present, and Future پاکستان، ماضی ، حال اور مستقبل
3. Social Media and Modern Technology — Benefits and Drawbacks سوشل میڈیا اور جدید ٹیکنالوجی کے فوائد و نقصانات

Word Count: 400 to 500 words

Talent Certificates will be awarded to all participants by FLAG.

Top-performing entries may be featured on official FLAG media platforms.
